We want to express our appreciation for all you did to care for Yvette and to make her life fuller over the past 4 years. She thought the world of you and for good reason--you were always there to support and encourage her, throughout both the good and tough times. I don't know what any of us would have done without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much. From the very first phone call we had, I knew you would be a wonderful resource for Yvette and our family. However, I could not have imagined just how key a role you would come to play in all in our lives. I have always admired your empathy, patience and warmth. You do such important work and your clients are lucky to have you. We will always remain thankful for all you have done.

When my mother and stepfather became ill in their 80s and 90s, Mark Leibovitch was an enormous help to my family. We live in Connecticut, and my mother and her husband lived in Boca Raton, Florida. We would not have been able to make important decisions about their well-being without the information that Mark provided. He knows everything about the medical and social services in the Boca area, and in particular about the Veteran’s Administration, and he helped us navigate through those complicated systems. He often came to check in on my mother and stepfather to make sure that they were OK and that the caregivers we had hired were taking good care of them. Without Mark’s help, we would not have had the peace of mind that my mother and her husband were getting the care that they needed. We could not have done without him!

Reduce your stress and worry and call Mark Leibovitch to be the Care Manager for your loved one. Mark is competent, knows community resources, and is respectful. He is knowledgeable about issues of the aging population, both from his years providing care management services. He will be frank and flexible, and it's clear that his concern is for his clients and not his ego. I found him to be generous, and compassionate, dependable and very personable. My mother trusted him and so did I, all for the good. Before finding Mark, I had fired 3 care managers for not doing what they promised and treating my mother poorly. With Mark, I could breathe with ease and know that my mother was in great hands. He did not pay me to write this!

We can sum it up in one word - Mark is a "lifesaver"! He gave us piece of mind at every turn. My sister lives in Canada and I reside in Colorado. Mark was an extension of our family. Our mom had significant memory impairment, struggled with losing her independence, and resisted caregivers. Mark was instrumental in finding two care givers that were resilient and came to be our mother's friend. From a service perspective Mark went to doctors appointments, helped ensure bills were paid, followed-up on overall care, and provided regular journals on mom's activities and state of mind. Mark also went above and beyond - he took her to or coordinated events that he knew she would be interested in. When mom was in and out of the hospital, Mark was able to provide us with peace of mind during times when we could not be there. Over the course of Mark's service we had our share of 'mini crisis's' to deal with. Mark took our calls late in the evening knowing how difficult it was to coordinate decisions or simply getting updates during the course of a regular day. Many thanks and appreciation to Mark. He is an exceptional Care Manager.

When my mother’s physical and mental health began to decline, I was faced with a dilemma. She was a widow living by herself and needed someone to care for her.  I have no siblings and live outside of Washington, DC while she wanted to remain in her apartment in Delray Beach, where she still had many friends.  Someone recommended Mark Leibovich as a care coordinator.  Retaining Mark was the best decision I could have made for my mother.  Mark acted as my eyes and ears to keep me informed about my mother’s medical status, mental status, and when she wanted or needed anything — things I did not necessarily hear from her when we spoke on the phone.  Mark also recommended the perfect care giver for my mother.  Jean arranged doctors’ appointments, drove my mother to them, took care of her personal needs and, most importantly, was a close companion and good friend to my mother during her last few years.  I’m convinced that because of Mark and Jean, my mother had both a longer life and a much better quality of life.

Dear Mark, I want to thank you for the amazing work you did in taking care of my father, Seymour and ultimately flying with him to Philadelphia so that we could care for him. While my father resided in Florida, you were able to get his medicines in order, took him to Doctor appointments and when he required hospital care you were there. Seymour developed a deep trust in you and confided in you like an old friend. Knowing that you were there for him, alleviated our anxiety about him and living alone. When it came time for Seymour to fly to Philadelphia, you made all the arrangements and accompanied him on the plane ride. We credit you with extending his life and allowing him to be with us near Philadelphia for almost four more years. Your caring and empathetic interactions with Seymour and our family was truly remarkable.

I highly recommend Mark Leibovitch for Geriatric Care Services. Mark took extraordinary care of my 95 year old father for more than the last 2 years of his life. Mark expertly guided me through the maze of care options, as well as the unexpected issues that emerged in my father’s health. He developed a close, and loving, relationship with my father which enriched my father's life up until the very end. In many ways, Mark was like a son to my father, helping him through some difficult life issues and not just healthcare issues. For example, Mark worked with me to help sell my father’s condo, sell his car, settle my father into his desired residence and manage/monitor his care. And for me, he was my trusted partner who never failed to come through.

Having an elderly parent living out of state can be a stressful situation, but thanks to Mark Leibovitch and Senior Care Strategies, my brother and I had piece of mind knowing that my mother was in good hands. Whether it was attending her doctor’s appointments, escorting her through airport security, or making sure she was taking the correct medication, there was never a task that Mark was not willing to help with. Mark is very resourceful and was always available to discuss issues with us that impacted our mother’s well-being.

“It is little wonder that referrals from previous clients make up a large portion of our incoming work!”
