A Geriatric care manager can serve as an advocate, advisor, problem solver and friend to both the client and their family. The geriatric care manager will conduct a comprehensive assessment which will identify problem areas or suggest alternatives and improvements to enhance the individual’s quality of life.  They will attend to all the matters required and make all the necessary arrangements in order to secure the proper care for their client and monitor those services established to ensure peace of mind for all those concerned..

Aging LifeTM/Care Management organization and has worked in geriatric care management since 1996.

Dedication

Mark is dedicated to the betterment of seniors in Florida and around the nation. He has seen firsthand the difference that caring and compassionate professional geriatric care management services has on the quality of life for his clients, their families and loved ones.

Leadership

Mark was President of the Florida Geriatric Care Managers Association in 2004-2005 & also served on the executive board, as a committee chair & head of special projects during his 13-year Board tenure.

  • We can sum it up in one word - Mark is a "lifesaver"! He gave us piece of mind at every turn. My sister lives in Canada and I reside in Colorado. Mark was an extension of our family. Our mom had significant memory impairment, struggled with losing her independence, and resisted caregivers. Mark was instrumental in finding two care givers that were resilient and came to be our mother's friend. From a service perspective Mark went to doctors appointments, helped ensure bills were paid, followed-up on overall care, and provided regular journals on mom's activities and state of mind. When mom was in and out of the hospital, Mark was able to provide us with peace of mind during times when we could not be there. Over the course of Mark's service we had our share of 'mini crisis's' to deal with. Mark took our calls late in the evening knowing how difficult it was to coordinate decisions or simply getting updates during the course of a regular day. Many thanks and appreciation to Mark.
